pHion Balance

Our products have been developed under the guidance of Christopher Vasey N.D., the leading authority on pH Balance and author of the Acid-Alkaline Diet for Optimum Health. Christopher Vasey has practiced Naturopathy in Chamby-Montreux, Switzerland for 25 years. He has authored 18 books written in five languages. Mr. Vasey’s specialization is pH balance, detoxification and rejuvenation.
" Despite the extreme diversity of substances used by the body to build itself and function, it is possible to classify them in two major groups: basic (or alkaline) substances and acid substances. These two different groups of substances have opposing but complementary characteristics. To be healthy, the body needs both. When alkalines and acids are present in equal quantities the acid-alkaline balance is achieved." - Christopher Vasey, N.D.
Our Promise to you is what we say is what you get. pHion products are produced under strict GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) compliance and delivered to you at a price that’s always fair. We offer a full unconditional 30 day money back guarantee on all products, without question or hassle.

Product Details

Most people consume an abundance of highly processed foods that acidify the body and, as a result, are afflicted with many chronic ailments. In The Acid-Alkaline Diet for Optimum Health, naturopath and detoxification expert Christopher Vasey shows how a simple change in diet to restore your acid-alkaline balance can result in vast improvements in health. With more than 50,000 first-edition copies sold, this expanded second edition provides the latest information on restoring your body’s acid-alkaline balance.

To enjoy optimum health, our body needs balanced quantities of alkaline substances and acids. An imbalance can result in health problems ranging from minor skin irritations, chronic fatigue, back pain, depression, arthritis, ulcers, and osteoporosis.

With this new release, Christopher Vasey provides easy test methods to determine your acid levels, how to interpret these test results, and ways to establish a proper diet to maximize your health. In addition, he provides the latest information on proper hydration and de-acidification, important alkalizing supplements, and how to eliminate the body’s accumulated acids through intestinal cleansing. As an added bonus, the book also includes a new, detailed example of an alkaline detoxifying diet.

Rather than organizing alkaline and acid foods on the basis their chemical composition, Vasey categorizes foods based on their actual alkalizing or acidifying effect on the body so that you can design a diet best suited for your particular health needs. He goes further to explain how some foods, such as fruits, can have either an alkalizing or an acidifying effect, depending on who eats them, and how to use alkaline supplements to support your dietary needs.

I learned in Chemistry that when alkalines and acidics are mixed they tend to neutralize each other. Why doesn't the acid in the stomach neutralize the alkalinity of ph ion Balance?
pHionBalance  (46 months ago)
Hi,

When alkaline water enters the stomach, hydrochloric acid (HCL) is produced. This HCL neutralizes the stomach pH back to 7.0. At the same time HCL is produced, alkaline bicarbonate is made at the same time as a result. This bicarbonate is routed to organs like the liver and pancreas for phase 2 digestion in the intestinal tract. When you drink alkaline water, there is no phase 2 digestion (like if you ate food), thus the bicarbonate is produced in “excess” which can be used to neutralize acids throughout the body.

Herman,

When alkaline water hits your stomach, HCL is produced  (stomach acid). At the same time, alkaline bicarbonate is produced in equal amounts... and your body sends this to your liver and pancreas to product alkaline bile.  Thanks for your question!

Great book. I thought it was much more credible than the pH Miracle.
