The 21 Day Journey Towards Vibrant Health. Day 3. Vibrant Health Starts With Inner Balance…pH Balance

Anything living depends on a certain environment in order to not only survive, but to grow and thrive. One of the most important factors that impacts environment is pH… the balance between acid elements and alkaline elements.

Let’s take a look at how pH affects life.

Plants need the soil that they live in to have an optimal pH. If the pH is off a little bit, growth will not be optimal. If it’s off by a lot, the plant will literally DIE.

Just like plants, fish require an optimal environment to live in. For example, The water that fish swim around in and the coral reefs that are so vitally important to our entire ecosystem must be properly pH balanced and regulated in order for live to happen. Too much acid throws off balance and destroys life.

As a matter of fact, EVERYTHING in life…MUST have a properly pH balanced environment in the inside AND the outside of it in order to live.

Your body is no different. If you want to experience a VIBRANT body and a VIBRANT life, you need to create a vibrant environment on the inside of your body…and that starts with the right pH.

Inner balance…pH balance…will create the outer balance you desire.

In terms of your body, the optimal pH for your blood and fluids that make up over 70% of your body weight is roughly 7.37. That means a pH that’s slightly alkaline.

If your body becomes acidic, problems begin. If it becomes chronically acidic, you now have the type of environment that breeds a whole host of health problems.

Research shows a direct correlation between excess acidity and obesity, diabetes, arthritis, acid reflux, cholitis, IBS, fibromyalgia, fatigue, and on and on.

So, the first question you might have is…”OK, how do I know what the pH of my body is?”

The answer is simple… Test. Test Your pH!

Go to your local health store or buy some ph test strips right here. Simply test the ph of your urine in the morning, and you’ll know where you stand. We’ll talk more about what to do if your ph is too acidic later in our journey.

I can’t emphasize this enough… the regulation of your pH is as important to your health as the regulation of temperature is. If you had a fever of 101 and your body is out of its REQUIRED temperature range of 98 – 99 degrees, you’d go take care of THAT before you worried about losing those extra pounds…right?  pH is no different. If you’re too acidic, NOTHING in your body is going to work right…So, check your pH right away!

I first was introduced to the concept of acid alkaline balance because my dog was having kidney problems. My vet told me to keep testing Chelsea's (my dog's name) pH and keep it above 6.25 - he gave me a prescription. The more I researched, the more I realized that I had to keep MY ph up too.

I'm supposed to keep my pH above 6.5, and somebody told me that apple cider vinegar would help. Isn't vinegar acidic?

It is acidic, but the acetic acid in it converts to citric acid, and then into CO2 and water in your body. It's a weak acid that's easy to neutralize. It will help loosen and dissolve built up calcification, but you also need to increase your intake of alkaline minerals (potassium, calcium, magnesium) if you want to maintain a higher urinary pH.

I make a special drink every night that keeps my body pH in the right place all of the time. 10 ounces of alkaline water with 2 teaspoons of pHion green food and then I squeeze a lemon into it. It tastes pretty sour, but it really works.

I've noticed that if I take your pHion Blue capsules at night before I go to bed, my morning urine ph is about 6.5, but if I don't it's as low as 5.5. Is something wrong?

The blue is supplying the alkaline minerals to help neutralize the acids...that's why your pH is higher.
